This morning I participated in the 37th annual Wahiawa Pineapple Run.
The 10K run began a little after 7 AM. It was a sunny and beautiful morning out in Wahiawa. The start and finish line was at Ka’ala Elementary School, which is smack-dab in the middle of a residential area. I have to say Mahalo to the community for allowing this to happen year after year.
I always enjoy this run because I love Wahiawa, and find the course to be scenic, as well as challenging since there are a few hills to tackle, and of course, there’s also the pineapple at the end — every participant gets one. It’s one of the coolest things, for someone to hand you a pineapple after a run. Hopefully everyone who participated had a great time out there today! I know I did!
